I’m an independent AI/ML Engineer with a background in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. I didn’t really start out knowing that I wanted to work in AI. In my final year of engineering, I chose AI/ML as a major elective and worked on a stock analysis and prediction project. That got me interested in machine learning and eventually led to an ML Engineering internship, where I got to learn how ML is used in real systems.

Since then, I’ve kept exploring machine learning, data systems and intelligent systems. These days, I’m also spending time with Generative AI and agent based systems, mostly around automation and figuring out where they can actually be useful. I like building things, but I think I enjoy figuring things out even more. I’ll start with a problem, explore the data, try a few things and keep going until I understand what’s really happening.

I’m a pretty quiet person and usually listen more than I talk. I like observing people and things, and I find human behaviour especially interesting. I often wonder why people do certain things or why two people can see the same situation so differently. I get a lot of random ideas too. Probably more than I should. Sometimes I’ll get stuck on one and spend hours looking into it or trying to build something around it. Most of the time it goes nowhere. Maybe someone has already built it, maybe I misunderstood the problem, or maybe I just made a very simple thing sound complicated in my head. But every now and then something comes out of it that is actually worth building. I enjoy that process either way.

Outside of engineering, I like travelling and exploring new places. I follow markets and geopolitics because I’m curious about what’s happening and, more importantly, why it’s happening. I also have a habit of falling into random internet rabbit holes. One interesting thing usually leads to another and before I know it, I’ve spent half the evening reading about something I had never heard of before. I write things down sometimes too. Random thoughts, ideas, observations, things I find interesting. Not everything I write has a purpose. Sometimes I just don’t want a thought to disappear. I’m still figuring out where all of this is going. For now, I’m happy learning, building things, exploring whatever catches my attention and slowly getting better at understanding how things work.
